Maxie: |
A radio (and now television)
member of the WCCO sports staff, Mr. Max is unparalled
in the Twin Cities market for lobbing softball questions
to his guests. Much like Pavlov’s dog, he instinctively
reacts by defending any team that is criticized for
poor play.
He is described as earnest, annoying, and smug by viewers
of his self-produced late Sunday night “Sports
Show” at 11:05 on the WB23. A “blind homer”
if there ever was one, “Maxie” loves to
be one of the boys by kissing up and cheerleading.
